SHEEP FARMING

Raggio Celeste will promote sheep farming (especially goats), with a particular focus on the Saanen breed, which is characterized by its large size and exceptional milk production. This milk is of the highest quality, low in fat and therefore highly digestible. Regarding the division of labor, ten groups of one thousand animals each will be formed, each managed by a shepherd. A "shepherding school" will be established to educate new workers on respect for the environment, nature, and the animals themselves, and to prepare them to deal with potentially dangerous situations posed by free-roaming animals. The goats will be allowed to graze freely along the riverbanks, offering both free fodder and alleviating the significant costs municipalities incur periodically for grass mowing. Two or three refrigerated vans will be available to travel between the various milking stations to collect the milk, which will then be transported to the Raggio Celeste dairy. There, it will be processed according to regulations and transformed into ready-to-drink milk, butter, cheese, and other dairy products. The majority (approximately 60%) of the milk will be donated to charity, while the remaining 40% will be sold to supermarkets, shopping centers, and specialty stores. The proceeds, net of expenses, will be used by Raggio Celeste for further charitable purposes. The sheep will be milked by a machine powered by solar panels, which will charge with sufficient energy throughout the day to complete all the scheduled milking operations. In the evening, the animals will be placed in secure enclosures that will be constantly monitored via satellite to prevent theft and damage. Staff will be provided with a camper equipped with a shower, beds, a television, and a monitor to monitor the flock, even at night. To make the aforementioned monitoring work less burdensome, we will also rely on the support of an external agency, whose keepers will come to check on the flock at various times throughout the night. At the appropriate time, staff will be selected, open to both men and women. A love of nature, animals, and, in particular, the world of herding will be essential.

FISH FARMING AND FISHING

Raggio Celeste's goal is to set up a team of ten small river boats, each carrying two to three people, to introduce young workers to the world of fishing.

Fishing courses will be organized – both theoretical and practical – lasting six months, taught by professional fishermen with extensive experience in the fishing sector.

Numerous canals, both in the Veneto region and elsewhere, will be managed for wild-caught fish farms. These will include raising fry of various species, ensuring continued fishing while also protecting the natural habitat of native species.

A suitable location for this purpose has already been identified in a high mountain area outside the Veneto region, where an incubator will be set up to hatch the eggs of endangered species such as tench, pike, grayling, and others.

The facility will benefit from the services of one or more veterinarians/fish biologists who will ensure the protection and health of the various fish species.

The workers will have a valid professional fishing license and will fish in groups within a small cooperative affiliated with Raggio Celeste. Should they decide to leave to start their own business, they will have a universally recognized license and a wealth of knowledge.

The fish will be harvested daily (except weekends) and taken to the fish market for direct sale. A far-reaching project includes the construction of our own fish market—also linked to Raggio Celeste—for both traditional and online fish sales.

Part of the fish will be donated to less well-off people, while the remainder will be sold, and the proceeds – net of expenses – will be used for other charitable causes.

BEEKEEPING

Numerous hives will be installed within the Veneto Region (initially around a thousand, with the goal of reaching ten thousand, the number needed to cover the entire country). At the same time, a beekeeping school will be opened to educate students about the importance of bees within the global ecosystem. It is well known that, without bees, humanity would quickly disappear.

Workers will be provided with container trucks specifically designed to transport the hives. They will be continuously repositioned in locations suitable for the production of unique and highly exclusive honeys, and moved throughout Italy depending on the bloom season.

The products will include amorpha honey (a plant widespread along the banks of the Polesine rivers that produces a little-known, highly nutritious honey rich in polyphenols); blackcurrant, raspberry, and blueberry honey; limonium gmelinii honey, a blue-flowered plant widespread in the lagoons of Chioggia and Venice; and other very special, prized, and rare honeys, still being researched.

A facility will be set up where the honey will be sorted by type, packaged, and partly donated to charity and partly sold. The proceeds, net of expenses, will be used to fund humanitarian projects.

The facility will benefit from the services of one or more entomologists who will ensure the protection and health of the bees.

Those who wish to undertake this activity, after receiving appropriate training and sufficient field experience, will be offered the opportunity to receive ten beehives as a gift from Raggio Celeste, allowing them to set up their own business. To assist them in their new career, Raggio Celeste will also offer to purchase the honey they produce.

GAIA PIANETA VERDE is a project born five years ago. It aims to offer people a different place where they can regenerate their body, heart, and mind. It was born with the intention of discovering a new way of taking care of themselves, of understanding the signals our body sends us and therefore preventing illnesses and... attempting to treat them in a natural, vibrational, and energetic way. The project includes the opening of a space dedicated to daily sharing, with the possibility of using spaces to spend weekends or holidays in nature. The space will have a wellness and health section with equipment such as a Sensory Deprivation Tank and Quantum Wave machines to regenerate the body and mind. Spaces will also be available for holistic massages, reflexology, and much more.

A space will also be opened for our animal friends, in UN CUORE IN AFFIDO, where space will be given to the well-being, adoptions and support of animals in need of care.
